Interview with Peter Rundel (2/2), Artur Pizarro at IST

Segunda parte da entrevista (em inglês) ao maestro Peter Rundel. A conversa da semana passada é retomada com duas personalidades musicais muito diferentes: o maestro Philippe Herreweghe e Frank Zappa. Prossegue com a próxima temporada do Remix Ensemble, com a experiência de dirigir a Sinfónica Portuguesa e com as estreias e gravações de 2010. Termina com a opinião geral de Peter Rundel sobre o estado da música contemporânea, a diferença entre os públicos de Lisboa e Porto e o que significa trabalhar em Portugal.

Second part of the interview (in english) with Peter Rundel. In the current episode, the maestro talks about Philippe Herreweghe, Frank Zappa, Remix Ensemble’s next season, The Portuguese Symphonic Orchestra and the new recordings and premieres of 2010. He also gives his opinion on the current state of contemporary music, the differences between the audiences of Lisbon and Oporto and his experience of  working in Portugal.
